It's a thought that rattles around a few weeks after yet another birthday, her hummmming faintly after she's asked why she still isn't seeing anyone - the trail of broken hearts that Anya leaves behind her is practically criminal and yet it doesn't seem to stop. Yet she maintains that she shouldn't say yes to anyone who doesn't make her heart feel doki doki.
Or - maybe it's because no one can match up to the way that she feels when she sees Yato. A mix of elated and giddy, coupled with the intense need to hold his hand as soon as she sees him or else risk dying right there on the spot.
... Not to be dramatic or anything.
But that's what prompts her to shoot him a text because if nothing else, Anya's not the type of person to waste time either.]
