[Hello!
You have options.
1. Welcome to the grocery store. Rajak has officially been saddled with dinner duty - Miss Seira had recently become occupied. However he is currently standing at the vegetable aisle, staring blankly at the cabbages. How do humans tell what's good to eat...? What is he even trying to make....?
2. For some reason, it appears that you've wandered into a territory that is unfamiliar to you. But the problem is that this is very, very familiar to Rajak. Do you experience a vague feeling of being watched or must he make himself known first?
3. I am seriously out of ideas. Throw something at me, please.]

1.
Okay no Morgan's gotten used to grocery stores....ish. They're still kind of very different from markets where most of their food is gotten.
So there's a tactician who joins him in staring blankly at the cabbages.
And then--]
Do you think one's more expensive than the other because it's rounder? Or is it greener? Sort of like when birds fluff up their plumage to look more impressive to potential mates?
[hi]
no subject
Good job, Morgan, you have caught the immortal's interest.
He's just going to glance over and tilt his head in response. Humans are fascinating, their minds work in such strange ways. Perhaps this is why they have managed to develop so quickly?]
As far as I'm aware, cabbages do not mate in any conventional sense.
[that's all he's got for you]
no subject
...Though his words are enough that she turns to look at him. And. Craaaanes her neck up.
And takes a few steps back for good measure because wow too close to see him properly, she's going to get a crick in her neck--]
...Huh! Guess not. I suppose my metaphor was a little faulty. Sooo...why are you looking at cabbages as if they've got the answer to hard-hitting questions like life hidden in them somewhere?
no subject
Though if it helps her at all, he will accommodate her further. He starts to lean over to observe the cabbages more closely, thus bringing him down a bit more.]
They at least have the answers to dinner.
no subject
(wow he's pretty. why are all of these guys so pretty. what.)
THAT ASIDE she just hums cheerily, looking rather delighted by his answer.]
Mmm, well, dinner is about as important as it gets, really! But what are you going to make with cabbage?
[Okay so this little girl may not like her veggies much.]
no subject
[ . . . actually that was what he remembered from the days where most humans actually had to grow their crops and didn't even have the technology to keep them cold -
So he's going to double-check. Maybe cabbages have also evolved over time.
He glances to her inquisitively.]
Or is that not correct?
no subject
That was unexpected. So she blinks, but tilts her head, grinning.]
No, no, I'm pretty sure you have the right of it. I'd just much rather eat something sweet than something green and leafy.
[actual child Morgan]
no subject
... But it's still important for them to have substance after a long day of their studies...
You can tell that he's considering this deeply.
Hm. He speaks aloud again, thus implying that her input is of worth to him-]
... Perhaps for after dinner.
no subject
But she does brighten at that, as if she's the one getting the goodies after dinner, and beams up at him (craning her neck some more....)]
What sort of sweets? You're going to make something delicious, right? Ooooh, what about pie or cake or tarts...!
no subject
That shall be decided after the main course is settled.
[So cabbages. He might actually try to inspect them now.]
no subject
And then she gets bored. Rocking back and forth on her heels, she just hums.]
Mmm... So what are you looking for, exactly? I mean, they all look pretty much the same to me.
no subject
in complete seriousness:]
The best possible cabbage.
[ONLY THE BEST FOR WHO HE SERVES]
no subject
She narrows her eyes at that, looking like she's considering that heavily.]
...What makes for the best possible cabbage? I mean, I don't mind helping you look, but I've got no idea what to look for!
no subject
Strong color, firmness, intact construction.
[ . . . He nods wisely. Certainly those are basic requirements for vegetables.
Sorry Morgan, he doesn't really know but this is his guess.]
no subject
No bruising, bugs or crushed leaves! Good color, firm and intact! Got it!
[And then she's peering at cabbages.
well.
okay.]
no subject
Nonetheless, he nods.]
Your assistance is appreciated.
no subject
Aww, sure! I mean, it's a lot more interesting than watching you stare at cabbages, so I'd consider it a win-win situation!

After wandering around the store for a few minutes, the girl walks over to Rajak with a cheerful smile on her face.]
Excuse me, do you need some help?
[Her intuition is rarely off, after all, and this time it's telling her the poor man is at loss.]
no subject
Caught.
Though even though it's been made obvious that he really doesn't know what he's doing, Rajak doesn't seem to outwardly show any signs of being embarrassed. Instead, he simply answers-]
Yes.
[A slight tilt of his head.]
However your assistance is not required if it is a hardship on you, miss.
no subject
Not at all! I'll be happy to help in any way I can.
[With an enthusiastic nod, the girl turns to look at the vegetables in front of them.]
Are you looking for anything in particular, mister?
no subject
Perhaps...
[what do they normally eat again- Oh.]
Ramen?
no subject
Are you going to make it from the scratch, or do you want an instant cup one...?
[She can help with either, but it's always better ask first.]
but rajak isn't no. 3
. . . so we thought it'd be a good idea to include you on our contacts.
he's not even a knight, tao. wow.
This is the preferred method of contact for humans?
it's better than hollering rajak's name atop buildings in the night, okay.
1
therefore, also standing in the vegetable aisle, don't mind her as she slips next to rajak to get one of those cabbages. maybe two.
and they promptly slip out of her hands! ]
Ahhh! Ibuki dropped the ball.
