[it turns out that Itsuki's half-right. The hiyokos are there with the laundry, which he makes a beeline for, but it seems as if no one else is around...? Maybe all that caution was unwarranted after all, just a quick and breezy mission - in and out...
Then, an enraged shout of 'Itsuki!' and two young women approach from the opposite bank. One with long dark hair who opens her mouth to continue, the other with purple hair, who looks steadily at Itsuki with an indecipherable expression..
'Tell me, why do I have to be saddled with the most lazy and selfish partner on this entire ship! Where have you been, and what have you been doing?!]
O-ojou-chan... Nanami-chan... [OH BOY.... Itsuki resists the urge to look frantically around for Buzen, looking down at the hiyokos instead.] I was just -- helping the hiyokos with the laundry! I didn't realize how much time passed.
[unfortunately, this just sets off another tirade about how much of a terrible liar Itsuki is, along with all of his numerous, varied, and obvious faults. Itsuki continues to stand, patiently absorbing the girl's rage like he's done this before. The strategy apparently seems to be 'shut my mouth and wait it out because anything else I say will just set her off again',]
