TENKA KUMOU

He and Natalia honestly trade off whose tags I get to do. I admit that sometimes Tenka's threads are easier or more focused on his cast so I do have a habit of prioritizing those for an evening to make sure they get somewhere so no one's stuck in limbo.
MUSE STRENGTH: ■■■■■
Playing Tenka comes as easy as breathing?! Which is really concerning because he's so so so so so dumb like what's going on. But I don't hesitate with his tags very often, though I may occasionally reword a sentence when it's a more serious thread because Tenka actually is very good at his words when they count.... Overall though, it's not hard? The mood whiplash might be my favorite part because it's very DnW to go from serious to astoundingly dumb in a manner of 0.5 seconds.
CAST STRENGTH: ■■■■□
I LOVE MY CAST, JFC. It started off with me and dearest and then it grew and then my little obscure canon got to be one of the biggest casts in Cereal. Everyone's amazing and hilarious and I'm so pleased. Everyone's great and the only reason why there's an empty square is because I still don't have a Chuutarou tbh.
PLOTTING CAPABILITIES: ■■■■■
Listen, it takes an effort for me to keep Tenka from rushing at everything in sight. He's talkative and sociable and helpful and even when I say "oh I'll just keep Tenka in the back for now" I get tags in his inbox or something that's directed toward him in a post and I just go for it anyway. It's not hard for me to manage him at all.
SHIPPING POTENTIAL: ■■□□□
I've always said that Tenka is Too Single Dad for ships and it's proving to be true.... He honestly is capable of recognizing someone's attractiveness and has moments in canon where he's jokingly looking for someone but right now, when he's away from Otsu and taking care of these poor lost kids in Cerealia, the last thing he's thinking about is a relationship for himself. He's too busy mending things with his cast and trying to give as many people a reason to smile as possible.
and then he crawls into Sousei's futon when he's feeling down or explaining to children why there's photographic evidence of him kissing Shirasu or I'm writing in brackets about how cute he thinks Kaoru is and I throw my hands in the air like Tenka make up your mind

He yells about condoms and breaks down bathroom doors, what more could I want.... bUT NO IN ALL HONESTY, Tenka is actually super fun to play. I love him. I sincerely love him and all his CR and all his stupid adventures. Very rarely do his threads drag and get uninteresting for me. If I get tired of really happy and humorous tags then I always have some serious threads on the side that I can tag for a bit. Also the total mood 180s are enjoyable too. Honestly playing Tenka is a blast and I constantly reflect on how funny all of his threads are and how happy they make me.

Right now they average about 20 threads each and the only reason why I might take more time with Natalia tags is because she's still settling in and building CR without getting into anything heavy at the moment. I find that a lot of her introduction threads take a bit longer to build up momentum but once she's found her dynamic with someone, I can't really get enough.
MUSE STRENGTH: ■■■■□
I've gotten used to playing her!! Which is good because I was very nervous at first, mostly with first impressions and all that. Natalia has a sort of spark to her personality that isn't really evident and other more.... clueless traits that don't come out in the first meeting. But now that she's settling in and those other sides of her personality are coming out, I'm feeling much more at home. Still not entirely secure because I know I need to still replay a bunch of sidequests and watch some skits, but for now, I'm content.

I HAVE SIPP AND MAYBE OWL WITH THE COMING APP ROUND which is perfectly fine. I honestly wasn't expecting a cast at all so this was a pleasant surprise! They're wonderful and I love them already, yes I do.

YET AGAIN, I need to keep myself from tagging into everything in sight with Natalia. But honestly she's very helpful and sociable and more responsible than Tenka, even.... so when it comes to the actual game plot, I plan on getting her more involved with it than him for sure. Regardless, she has an easy time wandering into a lot of posts, I just need to keep myself from picking up too many threads.

Personally, I find her really easy to ship OOCly. I love a lot of her CR and think that her chemistry with them is hilarious and engaging, but ICly it'd be a lot harder for her to be convinced, especially if Asch gets into the game as well. In her head, she's still very much engaged and if she were to get into a relationship with anyone, they'd need to make a wonderful king. She's not the type to take her romance very lightly considering that it may very well decide the fate of her kingdom. WHICH IS UNFORTUNATE, because she's an adorable romantic and I'd love to play her out in a ship. Ah well.

SUCH A GOOD DECISION TO APP HER. I'm honestly having a blast because she's a lot more varied in her average thread than Tenka is. Her relationships with people are slowly building and I love being able to get to the sides of her that aren't hypercompetent and responsible. Her threads always leaving me laughing because they're either absurd or just ridiculous. Then I get to talk politics with her too and that brings me so much nerdy joy...

The only thing is that I'd drop her before I dropped Tenka but NEITHER IS HAPPENING SO?

THIS GAME IS SO GOOD, honestly I love it.... I'd call it my Home Game at this point. My threads are funny and sometimes they're serious and all of the time I love the playerbase and all the work that the mods do. It's crazy involved and I seriously just can't get enough of this setting. The plot's gonna get rolling soon and Natalia's going to try to get involved in that which will leave Tenka mostly just making CR and connections which was always the plan for him. Because that's just.... the Tenka way of doing things.....

Winter Break Dana was very optimistic and I'm realizing that now. I'm less busy than I was last quarter but given how much I started over Winter Break, I'm actually still catching up on a lot. Things are sloooowly starting to wind down but then my inbox gets to 60 and that's why I felt the need to do this in the first place. Honestly though with waking up at 6 AM everyday and the occasional 4 hour break and keeping my Friday evening free, I have a lot more time to tag which is good - it means that my tags won't be coming back every 2 weeks like they were last quarter. My inbox averages more around 40 on the typical day, including PSL tags, which is honestly manageable enough to me! With this schedule, it just might look like my PSL tags will come just as slow as usual but I worry that that's something that can't be helped.

RE: Sakon - I don't have the time for a Haven intro and that's just disheartening. I may not have time for Sakon anymore in general which also sucks?! I was so excited to app him during Winter Break but I know that in complete honesty, if I add him in, I'm going to get slower with all my tags in general. I played Sakon for so long last year that I'm well-aware of the time commitment that comes with his energy and I just can't manage that right now.
RE: Jae-ha - Meanwhile, I'm still on the fence with Jae-ha. Theoretically, I could app him in another two months but that falls right in the middle of my Finals Week. Admittedly the week after Finals Week is Spring Break but that's.... just kinda negligent, isn't it? I just know for a fact that I very much want to try playing three characters. He'd be a good balance between Natalia and Tenka seeing as he wouldn't get himself involved in plot stuff very much but I could still find things to toss him into. He's very independent but also not as obviously as big-hearted as they are, which would let me keep him a bit more on the side compared to them. I think I'll let the decision marinate for another day or two as I canon review for him anyway and then I should be able to determine how much of a tag load he'll take on, which is to say, hopefully not that much.
