[SAMURAI NERDS COMING RIGHT UP - and in the form of a downhill sled race. Welcome to the minor leagues, Percy.

They managed to grab some sleds from somewhere - Sakon's luck turns up in the weirdest of places - and then managed to trek up the tallest, steepest hill that Sakon could manage to find in town. Because when you're an amateur, that sounds like the best of all possible ideas, right?

Right.

So Sakon's sitting on his sled, bouncing a little precarious (like he'll take off at any second), and giving a grin that doesn't at all imply that this is a bad idea.

It is.]

You ready, man?! Let's go, let's go, let's goooo!

[expulsions]

[Sakon definitely picked the right person to take up the hill with him. Percy's the least likely to tell someone that they have a bad idea and he's ready to go, settling his sled next to Sakon and pushing it in the snow a bit to test its traction.]

Quick question. What do I get when I win? [Don't sound so casual about it, Percy, gods.]

Heeeh? Cocky, cocky! [Sakon's laughing a little bit though, in good spirits even as he thinks about it.] Alright, how about if you win...

Let's go classic! The loser does one thing that the winner demands!! Fun, yet easy.

Seems simple enough. [He finally gets on his sled, readying himself to push down the hill.] I'll think of something good for you then that won't be too bad. Count of three?

[and because Sakon is not a cheater, but he is definitely a little shit he's grinning a mile wide and yelling:]

Onetwothree!

[then shoving himself off with a whoop as this downhill sled race is apparently Happening]

[EXCUSE!! Percy's more or less pushing himself as hard as possible to tip on the hill to send him zooming downward after Sakon. He's behind, but with a little concentration he may accidentally get the snow to curve and allow him a clear path to pick up some speed. Sakon will mostly hear Percy yelling behind him before he barely zips ahead of him.]

Man, are you coming or not?

[what the fuck was that -

is what Sakon's internally thinking but externally he's just whooping in excitement. Does he not realize he's losing? But well he's not really the type to actually get discouraged, instead leaning forward to try to propel himself forward and moving his sled so that he can actually aim for some sudden ledges on this hill that provide makeshift ramps.

He's standing on his board, which probably isn't safe, and looks a lot more like snowboarding, but then he's definitely launching himself in the air.

Screaming excitedly.]
