[Lili has done a lot of things in her life. She's tackled drug lords, she's faced the gallowed, she's punched out a king. And yet.]

You're kidding, right?

[Here she is, pillow in hand, staring down a pillow fort that had already been constructed in front of her. There's a lot of squinting and judgment going on here, but that's what happens when you're a girl who doesn't even have a single clue about how to have fun.]

[Maya is absolutely not kidding. She went through the trouble of putting all of this together specifically because she knows Lili needs to learn how to have fun, so there's no way Lili will get out of this]

[And, as the gracious host she is, she's perfectly willing to explain.]

It's a pillow fort, duh! [wow, Maya, great explanation]

It's our fluffy domain to rule as queens!

Lili bristles a little bit - she really is like a goddamn cat - and then fusses as she wonders if this is really something basic she's not getting? She's not stupid!

R-Rule...? Who are we ruling over?

[It's fine, Lili. Maya's prepared to teach her everything.]

Um... our fluffy kingdom, duh!

[She gestures expansively at the fort she'd painstakingly built from the ground up] The royal rule is... snug enough to fall asleep in!

[Fluffy kingdom.

Lili blinks at that - surprised - and seems to consider that. Maya put so much work into this... It looks stupid but. It would feel pretty callous to just leave it alone entirely, right?

Ugh.]

Right.... Then I guess - it would be bad if we abandoned it... or something.

[And there it is. The ice queen gently defrosting. Maya flashes her a cheeky smile]

Exactly. The kingdom would be in shambles! That's why you and I have to rule over its fluffiness... together.
