[When Makkachin yips happily, wanting to join in on the commotion, Yuuri can't help but smile. It's not like he wasn't expecting Viktor to latch onto him like that, anyway. He's had months to get to know his boyfriend's behavior.]

You really want to know that badly? [Fine. Wrapped up like this, Viktor's warmth at his back, Yuuri feels himself cave just a little.] You're different from what I imagined, but I liked getting to know you outside of what you're like on the ice. It's...better, I think.

[Then, his words really start to sink in. Unused to being so expressive and open with his words, Yuuri buries his face in Makkachin's fur, feeling the blush all the way to the tip of his ears. He mumbles--] Um, that's about it.

[... Cute.]

Mm? I might need to see a doctor? [But quickly, before Yuuri has the chance to actually freak out over it - ] My heart feels like it's so full it might burst? Ah, that's an unfamiliar feeling.

[But not an unwelcome one.

Viktor knows that he has fans all around the world who have an image of him in mind and while he'd like to have the opportunity to meet every single one, he knows that it's not feasible. And even if they did meet him, would they still enjoy what they say?

Yuuri's opinion means that and still much more. So he hums as he lets his chin rest on his boyfriend's shoulder and makes a noise of approval.]

Thank you for that, Yuuri.

[Yuuri lets out a soft huff of laughter before he can help it. Talk about dramatic. Though, he doesn't mind the sentiment himself. Affecting Viktor like this, making him happy is something that he never would have even thought of before Viktor showed up at his doorstep.

He leans his head against Viktor's, smiling as he soaks up the warmth that accompanies that little action.]
